It was a shambolic first 45 minutes for abroad City in match week six of The Creative Championship League, TCCLeague which saw them head into the dressing room luckily just one goal down to table toppers, Sporting Lagos.
Skipper Solomon Agbalaka, told Sports247 what the manager said in the dressing room that spurred the players to return with renewed energy to pick a point in the game despite first going two goals down.
“We lost concentration by ball-watching the opponent in the first half. At half time, the coach told us in the dressing room that we need to come out and play and we can do it, so we came out with determination to play,” Solomon said.
“The coach and the players both played their part well. We believed we could do it and that was the spirit that made it happen,” he added.
Broad City currently stays 4th after six games with ten points, just one point away from joint league leaders, Sporting Lagos and Beyond Limits.
