Udeh Thomas, a player for Real Sapphire FC, shared his thoughts on their recent game against Valiant FC in the ongoing Creative League Championship Tournament.

Despite a challenging start to the game that saw them lose a player early on, Thomas emphasized how the team managed to turn the situation around and secure a point.
“At the beginning, it was frustrating,” Thomas admitted. “But by the end of the game, we tried to pick up with the guidance and tactics of our coaches, and we were able to get a point.”
He highlighted the role of coaching and strategic substitutions in their performance, saying, “We trained with some tactics, and the coaches helped us a lot. We made some substitutions that greatly influenced the game. Even with a red card, we managed to secure a point, and we are pleased with that.”
Considering the match as a derby season in the Creative League Championship, Thomas expressed his satisfaction with the outcome. “It feels good because we are not going home empty-handed,” he said. “Taking one point away, even with a red card, is not easy, and we thank God for everything.”

Thomas also praised the new additions to the team for stepping up and contributing positively. He acknowledged the challenge of losing their first-choice player to a red card but maintained their determination to play on.
