Dino FC came from a goal down to beat Dannaz FC 2-1 in the Creative Championship Cup.
After falling behind in the opening seconds of the game, Dino FC fought back through goals from Elijah Adekunle and Hyacinth Ogonna to turn the tie on its head.
Dino FC manager, Godwin Gibson believes his side could have scored more in the clash. Speaking after the match, he told Sports247: “It’s good to get back to winning ways. Our first game was very poor but the last two results have been impressive.
“We created a lot of goal-scoring chances today but we could not score as much as we wanted to. We are satisfied with the result. We’ll keep on working on the little things to improve in the subsequent matches.”
When asked what he told his players at the break with the game tied, Gibson said: “We were able to address the poor defending that resulted in us conceding so early in the game. We reminded the players that nothing is impossible. We pushed them and that is what I believe gave us the win at the end.” he concluded.
