Imperial FC manager, Adedeji Ayeoba has expressed his delight following his side’s thrilling 4-3 win over Broad City FC in The Creative Championship Cup on Wednesday.
Speaking after the final whistle, Ayeoba told Sports247: “This win means a lot to me because it’s a decider for our qualification for the semi-finals. It means a lot to me and I am very happy for the performance that the boys were able to put up today.
“It was a very tough game but my players stuck to the plan. Their concentration level was high. They came out in good spirits. I’m very happy. Despite the fact that we conceded three goals, I’m very happy and confident in my boys.”
Ayeoba concluded by disproving claims his team were lucky to have gone up ahead 3-0 in the opening 17 minutes of the game. He argued that the build-up to each goal is a training routine.
