It was a drab affair on the return to The Creative Championship League for two teams still in contention for the league title as Gbagada and Iganmu ended 0-0.
“We created a lot of chances but we were not able to convert. It was however a very good game,” Gbagada FC’s Adiele Marvelous told Sports247’s reporter.
The player went on to rate the performance of his side as ‘average’ judging from their fine form to end the NLO and having high expectations from fans coming into the game.
“I’ll say our performance today was average. This was not close to our best game at all but hopefully, in the next game, we’ll give our best to get a better result,” Marvelous said.
