“He’s a very good coach, perfect and super. I can really say that (changing of the coach was the tonic Ijebu United needed to get back to winning ways),” were the words of Joseph of Ijebu United after his side defeated Iganmu FC 3-0 away from home in Matchday ten of The Creative Championship League.
Ijebu United on the back of a 1-0 home win against the top-of-the-table team, Remo Stars U19. The Ijebu side has now kept two clean sheets in a row and are slowly climbing up the ladder.
The goalkeeper Joseph who was very good for his side in the last two games also explained that the players now putting their minds to the game and that’s why they’re winning.
“It’s all about we players bringing out our minds to play football. Before everyone was less concerned, not putting their mind and interest. The new coach came and all of us came together to play football and it has brought winning,” Joseph added.
