It’s was a wonderful moment for the fast-rising star goalkeeper Gideon Edeh as he becomes the creative championship man of the match with his outstanding saving performance at the legacy pitch on Sunday evening in front of his supporters.
Thanks to the man of the match, goalkeeper Gideon Edeh who was able to build a strong tower in front of his eighteen-yard box among several goal attempts but none saw the back of the net.
The Igbo-born player who has been distinguishing himself from every other goalkeeper made a showboat after saving a goal for his team.
In an interview with sports247.ng, keeper Gideon Edeh said;
” Am very happy for the effort I put in because it has yielded something so I just thank God for everything”
” I was not expecting anything I only did my thing as a goalkeeper making sure our opponent don’t score but to the glory of God the award came to me. He added.”
I am very happy about the victory today, just like what my coach told us, we did exactly so and were able to secure our second position victory in the league. I am so excited”
“I will like to thank my coach and my teammates for the effort and encouragement and build-up they have been giving to me and also I want to thank everybody who has been supporting me in one way or the other I appreciate them all and I love them”. He concluded.
