It was a hot sunny Wednesday afternoon matchday 8 at the Legacy Pitch of the National Stadium Surulere, Lagos, as Broadcity FC academy hosted Beyond Limit FC in the ongoing creative championship league.
The match kickoff at exactly 1 pm as the fans of both teams came out colorfully to cheer up their teams
Recall that the visitor had an encounter with Imperial city in their last match as they made a home victory securing a total three-point in a 2-1 full-time scoreline.
The match against Broadcity came out tough as the Olumides boys had it tied down as Broadcity gave them a pressuring goalless first half.
The second forty-five minutes commences as the referee blew his whistle with a strong tackle coming from both sides.
The Beyond Limit goalkeeper, whose future ahead of him wishes to play for a foreign club saved the day for his team by making sure no goals were conceived as he manned a Jericho within his eighteen-yard goal line.
A couple of chances came in from the away side but they could not get a finishing touch as some dangerous counter passes were intercepted by the home side.

In an exclusive interview with sport 247, coach Olumide Ajibolade of Beyond Limit academy said;
” It’s a draw and we took a point on the road, we wanted more but so many factors mitigated our performance”
” The temperature on its own is absolutely unplayable, the pitch itself is difficult and so the boys struggled to keep rhythm and momentum on their face.
They were slow in transition, although we could have conceived a couple of goals” he added.
” But in all at least we took a point, so we would be focusing on our next game, and our next match will be a free-flowing offensive game, he reassured their supporters and concluded.”
The match between Broadcity FC and Beyond Limit academy ended in a goalless draw 0-0 full time.
Statistically from the log table, Beyond Limit is the second position with eight matches played, seventeen points ahead of dino and imperial FC, and one point below Gbagada is on top of the creative championship league table with eighteen points.
