The three times match-day winner Gbagada FC Faces its first defeat in the hand of Iganmu FC since the commencement of the season on Wednesday at the legacy pitch Surulere Stadium.
Indeed when two elephant battles for survival the grasses suffer, this was the case of the two rival clubs that rub shoulders with each other.
Playing under the Sunny Eko atmosphere the three-time winner has been beaten hands down by the Iganmu FC to a 1-0 clean sheet defeat.

The Gbagada fans could not hold back to the defeat as some notables were seen walking out of the legacy pitch before the final whistle was blown by the referee.
In a mixed reaction, the head coach could not withstand the heat and pressure coming from the opponent as several substitutions were made but still nothing came out of it.
The first half of the match ended draw as both sides ties a goalless one.
And in the second half of the play, a surprising thunderbolt short came from the opponent side disbalancing the goalkeeper to create an opening first goal against the Gbagada boys.
In an exclusive interview with the well-kitted coach, Olajide Akinyelu said;
” It is a game we don’t deserve to get a point from, we didn’t play too well so we will just take the loss from it and get back to work and by Sunday we would be ready for our next match.” He concluded.
The three times unbeaten coach could not further his moment with Sport247 as the loss came as a dismay to him.
Looking at the team’s current statistics on the log table; Gbagada FC has played four matches with a total of nine points with two goals difference against Beyond Limit in the first position.
Gbagada holds the second position while Business Atlantis is third accordingly.
