Sixth place Emmydinho FC ran out as the highest winners of matchday nine in TCC League as they tore Iganmu FC 4-1 apart.
Emmydinho FC basically won both halves after they ended the first half 2-1, taking the lead into the break and continuing where they left off after the break by adding two more goals to win 4-1.
Chinonso Michael, captain of Emmydinho FC explained to Sports247 why his side performed that well. “We promised our manager we’ll do better than before because we have been losing matches and he’s very angry with us. That’s why we had to put more effort,” he said.
The captain playing as a defender dawns the number seven jersey and explained that he just feels comfortable wearing that jersey. He hopes to go as far as playing for Barcelona in his football career.
