Matchday two of The Creative Championship League, TCC League saw Imperial take on Emmydinho FC in a fixture that was expected to be tight but the home side ran out convincing 2-0 winners on the day.
Ezekiel Samuel put the team in front after 25 minutes of play before a man-of-the-match performance from Ezeno Chidera started with him extending the lead further four minutes later which was what the game would end as afterward.

Coach of Imperial FC, Adedeji Ayeoba praised his player’s performance and their ability to keep a first clean sheet in the competition while speaking to Sports247.
“Impressive performance from my boys at this TCC League, I toil you before the game to expect the best from us and they were able to bring out the best and secure all 3 points,” Adedeji said.
“Tactically we were better, in and out of possession controlling the affairs of the game, going forward at the right time to affect the game and be clinical. Also, we did an impressive thing today, keeping a clean sheet and this is the first time in the league for us and I’m very happy,” he added.
Man of the match, Ezeno Chidera also shared his thoughts and dedicated the award to his teammates after getting the team’s second goal of the game and his second in the league so far in two games.
“I feel overwhelmed, it’s not for me alone but for my teammates and the coaches. We’ve put in a lot especially after our last loss and we’re happy to win today,” Chidera told Sports247.
