TCC League: Business Atlantic Manager Reacts After Victory Over Ijebu United

General Manager of Business Atlantic, Sule Momoh has commended his players for their resilience, fighting spirit and doggedness exhibited to earn a 1-0 victory over newly-promoted Nigeria National League side, Ijebu United.

The friendly match was put together to enable the coaching crew of Business Atlantic to assess the players’ fitness ahead of The Creative Championship.TCC

The encounter which was played early Wednesday at Dipo Dina International Stadium, Ijebu- Ode saw Olayemi Onifade score the winning goal for Business Atlantic in the 75th minutes to confirm their victory over Ijebu United in a friendly match watched by hundreds of football fans.

After the pulsating tie, Momoh said the victory was a welcome development noted that the victory would help the players to give their best in subsequent matches. He however commended his players for their determination and tactical discipline shown throughout the high tension-soaked match.

“The victory was a good one for a team like us. We went to play NNL side in their home and we came out victorious. This is to tell you that the players were at their best and played to the coach’s instruction. We would not rest on our oars and ensure that we take this winning mentality to prepare well for The Creative Championship,” he said.

Meanwhile Business Atlantic had started playing The Creative Championship, TCC before they went on break. The Lagos FA Cup quarterfinalist lost 0-1 to Gbagada FC in the opening match and won Broad City FC 3-1 in their second match.

Business Atlantic would face Dannaz in TCC League on Sunday at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere, Lagos. The encounter would be another litmus test for Business Atlantic players and a victory for them would boost the morale of the players to excel in their subsequent matches.

Momoh said he is optimistic that his players would go out for victory against Dannaz. He said failure to win their opponents would be a huge disappointment to the fans and club management led by Henry Obinna.
