The final day of the season and a point on the road meant Gbagada FC were poised to finish in the top three positions in the league as coach Olajide reflects on the team’s performance.
Gbagada FC faced Atlantic Business FC in a final day encounter that ended 1-1 and the manager was pleased with picking a point on the road.
“A point on the road, not so bad. Finishing with 33 points, not so bad,” he said.
“We have to wait for other results to confirm our finishing position but currently we’re second.”
“33 points from 18 games is not a bad result. It’s a good season overall and today we did well and I’m pleased with what we’ve achieved,” the coach concluded.
Beyond Limits were already champions after matchday sixteen in the league, 9 points clear of second-placed Gbagada FC with just two games left to play.
