After an upsetting 4-3 win over Broad City, which many termed as luck, coach of Imperial FC Adedeji Ayeoba told Sports247 it wasn’t a lucky win but a plan.
“The win means a lot because it’s a decider for our qualification into the semi-finals. I’m very happy with the performance the boys put out today as it’s not easy, it was a tough game, they came out in high spirits, even as we conceded three, I’m still happy with the performance,” Adedeji said.
“It’s not a lucky win, it was a planned setup. The build-up to the goals were superb and it’s what we have been training on. It was exactly how we want it. Watch out for Imperial as we would progress,” he revealed.
Imperial FC are 3rd on the TCC acupuncture group A table with six-point from two games, level with Broad City in second place but only behind with an inferior goal difference that sees the qualification go into the last matchday as it’s still open.
