Dino SC lost their Creative Championship Cup opener 2-1 to Valiant FC and Coach of the side Gibson Godwin reacted to the game, explaining how their tactics didn’t work for them as well as the players not living up to expectations.
“Things didn’t work out the way we expected them to be,” he said. “We came with tactics but approached the game too casually and unfortunately the tactics did not work for us. We do have respect for our opponents but all I can say is our boys did not live up to expectation and we have to return and work on our lapses,” coach Gibson to Sports247.
Speaking on the areas that needed improvement, he stated all areas clearly as it was a collectively poor effort.
“In all areas. The tactics we came with did not work for us. We had some lapses in defense as there were gaps between the various departments. We failed in tactics and we’ll go back to work on all departments,” Gibson said.
