Matchday 3 of the TCC Cup saw different outcomes for teams even as Dino SC rallied from a goal down to defeat Dannaz FC to pick up their second consecutive victory in the Creative Championship Cup after an opening day loss, which the players attribute to the words of their coach.
Dino conceded as early as the first minute in the game but did well to go into the break level at 1-1 and man of the match hero Hyacinth Ogonna attributed the award to his coach and players and also explained how the coach motivate them in an interview with Sports247.
“I’m grateful to receive this award and I’m thankful to my coach and teammates because they are the push behind me. This will definitely motivate me to do even more in the next game,” Ogonna said.
Talking about coming from behind he said, “it’s all from our coach, he always tells us to never lose hope until the game is over,” he added.
Dino SC sit comfortably top of Group B with six points from three games and will hope to cement their place with a victory in the next game.
