A 2-1 defeat on the road for Dino Sporting Club against Valiant in the first group A game of the TCC Cup sees the side rooted to the bottom of the table in the early days.
After falling behind early in the game to an Abiodun Toheeb 18th minute strike, Dino leveled matters from the penalty spot three minutes later courtesy of Ikechukwu Henry. They however couldn’t hold on to the point for long as they have pegged back again in the first half, this time by A Yusuf Zakariyya goal which was enough to seal the game.
“We started well in the first half, hoping to keep the point but we lost concentration in the second half and suffered the defeat,” said a sad Lawrence David of Dino SC. “I’m sure in the next game we will come out to do better to get the win,” he told Sports247.
