Head coach of Beyond Limits Academy, Olumide Ajibolade has lauded the resilience and grit of his players in thier opening game trounce of Iganmu Tigers saying the team will compete until the very end.
The defending champions kept thier calm after being frustrated by Iganmu Tigers at the beginning of the game but they eventually scored 3 goals with no reply to snatch all three points.
“I am happy with the result because it’s a good way to start the season, very exciting performance from the lads,” Olumide said after the game.
“Iganmu were very compact, prepared to deny us the space behind, we had to change shape couple of times, the changes made brought in creativity.”
“Overall, it’s a lot of lesson for the lads and we hope that we can keep the momentum.”
“We try to produce players irrespective of the position to carry a goal threat, it’s a very good feature for club to have goals coming in from different players, it will help us this season.”
“The mentality at Beyond Limits Academy is very simple, for every game, we compete to win” he said of the team’s aim for the Championship having won two previous editions.
