The match was goalless in the first half as both sides were cautious but ambitious in their surge for goal. Malmö city needed to win for a spot in the playoff while Tomelila IF needed a draw to remain in the division.
As proceedings started in the 2nd half, Malmö city FC gifted the home team a goal, from a defensive blunder in the 52nd minute.
Daniel Burdan converted a penalty in the 60th minute for the equaliser. City kept the pressure and the needed breakthrough came in the 65″ from a corner kick and Tayo rose high beating all heads to secure the winning goal and 3 points for the visiting team.
Ahmed Shaffi’ was sent off in the 73″ for time-wasting and of course, Tayo impressed as he was converted to play the right back until the match ended
