Aston Villa striker, Tammy Abraham is facing a dilemma over his future in England, as the in-form Nigerian-born star has received a £20m strong transfer offer from RB Leipzig of Germany.
Sports247.ng reports that, in what appears like a sensational effort to keep afloat their recent Nigerian tradition, following a spell on loan with the club by Everton’s Ademiola Lookman two seasons ago, RB Leipzig are now looking keenly towards hooking Abraham.
The former East Germany club tried massively yet unsuccessfully to but Lookman from Everton last summer and in January but, where those efforts failed, their next focus is now on Abraham.
The lanky striker, who is on loan from Chelsea, has hit a rich vein of scoring form with Villa in the English Championship, which Leipzig will now hope he can replicate with them in the coming season.
The German Bundesliga side may be about to lose Timo Werner to a rival club as the striker will not commit to a new deal, leading to the likes of Bayern Munich, Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain sniffing around.
Consequently, Abraham has been identified as a possible replacement, and Leipzig want the 21-year-old to become the latest English talent to star in the German top flight.
Wolverhampton Wanderers tried to sign the Chelsea academy product for £20m in January, but he turned down the move as he wanted to see out the rest of the season on loan with Aston Villa, where he has scored 21 goals in 29 Championship outings.
The lure of playing top-tier football abroad may appeal to Abraham, it is claimed, with his chances likely to be limited at Stamford Bridge.
