Ahead of their upcoming international trials and tournaments, the management of Buruj Sports Academy has challenged all the players in camp to up their games so that they can be ready for the task ahead.
According to the news release, there is still a window of opportunity for registration of new players to beef up the team ahead of the trip that will come up next month (October)
Apparently determined to build a strong team full of young and exciting talents who should be able to play their way to stardom, series of trials and warm-up games have been played while many more are on the way to keep the players in top shape and also know their level of readiness.
The team lost their recent two warm-up games against Sunshine Academy and Yaba Tech Team respectively and the management has urged the technical crew to plug all the loose ends and noticeable lapses.
Registration of new players will be based on first come and first-served basis while those who can distinguish themselves will earn their place on merit.
“We are determined to raise a strong team but we are not yet satisfied with the performance of the players in camp based on the results of the two games we played just of recent.”
“While we will continue to work on the players in camp, we are giving more spaces to new players who are willing to play their way to the team we are building.”
“The next trip for trial and tournament will come up next month and registration will be based on first-come, first-served, ” the statement reads in part.
