This was the third game for T.K Bariga FC. They won two and drew one and today they ended the unbeaten run of Divine Praise FC by beating them to 2-1. The encounter showcased the resilience and determination of both teams, with T&K Bariga FC sealing the victory with well-converted chances.

Coach Oshoko Babatunde Elijah, the Head Coach of T.K Bariga FC, expressed his satisfaction with the team’s performance in an exclusive interview with Sports 247.

He acknowledged the tough challenge posed by Divine Praise FC, hailing them as the strongest team in their group. Despite the formidable opposition, Coach Oshoko’s team rose to the occasion, displaying remarkable strength and determination.

“The game today was not an easy one,” Coach Oshoko remarked. “Divine Praise FC is a strong side, and it wasn’t easy for my team to defeat them. But we managed to score two goals and took advantage of the chances we created. The opposition kept pushing and trying to break through, but glory be to God, we held our ground.”

When asked about the key factor that made the difference for his team, Coach Oshoko pointed out their clinical finishing. “The difference for my team today was our ability to capitalize on our chances,” he stated.

“We saw all our opportunities and converted them effectively. On the other hand, Divine Praise FC squandered some of their chances, and even though they were awarded a penalty, they couldn’t capitalize on it.”

With three more matches to go in the tournament, Coach Oshoko remains optimistic about T&K Bariga FC’s chances of topping the group.

He urged the team’s fans to stay supportive and place their faith in the team’s abilities. “In the remaining three matches, I believe we can secure victories to finish at the top of the group,” he confidently expressed.

As T&K Bariga FC continues its journey in the NLO2, its recent win against Divine Praise FC will undoubtedly boost the team’s morale. With the guidance and expertise of Coach Oshoko Babatunde Elijah, the squad is determined to build on this success and showcase its football prowess in the upcoming matches.
