Striker Sylvester Igboun insisted that FC UFA ‘played well’ after they beat Spartak Moscow in the Russian Premier League on Sunday.
The hosts needed goals from Dmitri Sysue and Lovro Bizjak to win in the final 12 minutes of the the tension soaked encounter.
Igboun who was impressive at the left hand side of attack lasted the full throttle at the Neftyanik Stadium.
“I’m happy with the win. We played well and deserved to win,” he told Sports247.ng following the crucial victory for his team.
“The goal is to play good football and get good results.
“Our philosophy is that and we would continue to ensure we do things right.”
UFA are 14th on the Russian Premier League log with 14 points from 14 games.
