Swedish-based winger Ogonna Chukwudi wants to return to the Nigeria squad for the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup after missing the Super Falcons 21-woman squad for the Africa Women’s Cup of Nations in Sweden.
The 30-year-old will play for Djurgården next term in the Swedish Dammalsveskan.
She says she is keen on playing for the Super Falcons in the World Cup.
“I had a great experience with the Super Falcons and I was in the provisional squad for the AWCON,” Ogonna Chukwudi said to Footballlive.ng reflecting back on her time with the Super Falcons before the AWCON
“I didn’t make the tournament unfortunately but it was a great learning curve.
Ogonna Chukwudi has netted 30 goals in 162 league appearances since she started her professional career in 2011.
She has featured for Kristianstad, Orebro and Umeå in her professional career.
