Automobile company Suzuki has reached an agreement to partner with the Organizers of the Abeokuta 10KM Marathon, Nilayo Sports Management Limited as the official automobile partner of the event.
With the development, the Abeokuta 10 KM Marathon which debuted in 2019 has enlarged its coast in terms of sponsorship and partnership.
While confirming the latest development, Managing Director of Nilayo Sports Management Limited, Hon. Bukola Olopade who expressed his happiness as regards the latest development said the partnership is an attestation that Nilayo Sports Management Limited has maintained its elite status of attracting investors.
The former Commissioner for youth and sports in Ogun State said “We pride ourselves on building relationships across our races and we look forward to doing the same with Suzuki. This collaboration will greatly reinforce the validity of sports sponsorship and its connection with successful brands”.
He added that the deal is a demonstration of the love the brand Suzuki has for the Gateway State and Abeokuta which is fast becoming the sporting hub of Nigeria.
The second edition of the Great Abeokuta 10KM Race which is certified by the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races (AIMS) and World Athletics (WA) is scheduled for November 13, 2021.
Suzuki has a range of vehicles ranging from the Vitara, Ertiga, Jimny, Alto, Dzire, and Cuz among other CFAO Motors Nigeria Products which was set up in 1920.
