Organizers of the prestigious City Merit Awards, Bulfazi Media Services in conjunction with the Coalition of Young Editors of Nigeria, last week Tuesday, December 31, 2019, honoured some distinguished Nigerians during the 5th edition of the annual awards.
At the event held at the headquarters of Surulere local government, Akeem Busari, CEO of Bulfazi Media led a team of the organizers which included the Olatoye Olawale, publisher of Sportflames to honour the Executive Chairman of Surulere local government, Hon. Tajudeen Ajide, as Man of the Year.
According to Busari, Hon. Ajide was chosen and duly honoured after due diligence by the organizers. He described the astute politician and former footballer as a compassionate and selfless man who is totally committed to the development and growth of the residents of his local government.
Responding, Ajide thanked the organizers for the honour. He added that the award would only spur him to do better, bigger and greater things that would further improve the lives and times of the people in his local government area.
