SUPREMACY BATTLE OF THE WARRIORS AS CROWN FC LOCK HORNS WITH SHOOTING STARS SC

It is going to be another gung ho, explosive and enterprising encounter between the two (2) leading teams in the Pace Setter State as the two (2) sides trade tackle in the 2019 final of the Ancient Federation Cup, sports247.ng learns

Media Chief of Ajilete Warriors,Tunji Alabi said Crown FC zoomed to the final stage of the competition by defeating Future Assurance FC 3:0, Ogbomoso Stars FC 7:1 and M12 FC 2:1.
Shootings Stars SC equally won their matches against Ibadan City Academy 2:0 ,OMA Academy 3:0 and Saki United FC 1:0 to get to the final stage.
Records proved that the Ajilete Warriors defeated the Oluyole Warriors in the 2016 edition of the competition and went ahead to reach the semi final stage at the national level, a feat yet to be broken over a decade.
Crown FC on Tuesday March 20th, 2018 thrashed 3sc 4:2 at the Soun Stadium in Ogbomoso in a friendly game organised by the Oyo State Football Association to bring to an end the Sensitization/Seminar  programme on maintaining peace at match venues organised by the body.
It was a barren draw in the return leg of the friendly game at the Lekan Salami Stadium in Ibadan on the 25th March, 2018.
Shooting Stars SC defeated Crown FC in the 2017 and 2018 editions of the same competition at the state level.
In all, both gladiators have met on five (5) occasions,in recent times, with each side winning twice and having a draw.
Both teams have qualified to represent the state at the national level but It is the end of the ninety (90) minutes of play that will give answers to the trending questions in the football fraternity as to who among the two(2) warriors will win this year edition of the very ancient but prestigious competition to emerge the state champion and prove supremacy.
“Winning the Federation Cup at the state level, triumphing as the 2019 Aiteo Champions nationally and gaining promotion to the elite division are our targets which are achievable with the grace and favour of God. So, we will play against 3sc as if we are playing the best team in the world.Though not a do or die affairs and by His grace Crown FC will emerge as champions,” Mr Rollanson Odeh ,the General Manager of Crown FC told Crown Media in a telephone conversation.
