In his original statement, Iwobi said, “Because we’re focused on ourselves. So whether they win 4 – 0 or lose 4 – 0 is none of our concern as long as we go through to the next round. But it’s unfortunate the host nation is out.
It sends a message that if the host nation can go out with so much ability and players that they have, then I’m sure that other teams should be ready for us as well.”
