The star at the just concluded NWFL Super Six tournament, Monday Gift has been called to Nigeria’s Super Falcons team by coach, Randy Waldrum.
Gift scored 9 goals at the NWFL Super Six to lead Bayelsa Queens to the NWFL title and also scoop away all the individual awards of the NWFL including the MVP of the tournament, highest goal scorer of the tournament, and highest goal scorer of the league.
In a revised squad list released today by the Super Falcons coach, Gift was one of the four NWFL players invited by Randy Waldrum.
The Super Falcons will start preparations for the Africa Women Cup of Nations coming up in July in Morocco.
