As part of the birthday event lined up in marking James Onome’ birthday, a novelty match was played in his honour by his players.
Super Eagles Winger Anayo Iwuala and some of the players that have gone through the coach tutor formed a team to play against the present crop of excellent football academy players.
It was a nine goal thriller match, in celebrating the renowned Delta state born grassroot coach, super Eagles Winger Anayo Iwuala scored a goal while his younger brother Ebuka Iwuala with the club U-17 side also scored a goal .
An excited Onome said “he is full of joy to see his former players those in the diaspora and ones playing in the NPFL and NNL on this day to celebrate with him and his family”
Onome James further thanks the Al Arabi of Kuwait forward for the donation of kits and balls to the club and also for the gift present to him for his birthday celebration.
