Super Eagles goalkeeper, Maduka Okoye joins Dutch club, Sparta Rotterdam on a two-year deal
Nigeria’s Super Eagles goalkeeper, Maduka Okoye, 20, has joined Dutch Eredivisie side Sparta Rotterdam from German club, Fortuna Dusseldorf.
The Dutch club announced the signing via its website and Twitter page, stating that Okoye has penned a two-year deal with an option of another two-year extension with the club.
“Sparta Rotterdam has strengthened itself, with the exception of the medical examination, with Maduka Okoye. The Nigeria international signs for two seasons, with an option for two more seasons, ” the announcement read.
Sparta Rotterdam heeft zich, onder voorbehoud van de medische keuring, versterkt met Maduka Okoye. De Nigeriaans international tekent voor twee seizoenen, met een optie voor nog twee seizoenen.

The German-born Nigerian football star started his youth career at Bayer Leverkusen before he moved to Fortuna Düsseldorf. He also made his debut for the Super Eagles in an international friendly match against Brazil in Singapore last year.
