Suns Basketball Academy of Jos clinched the championship title in the 2024/2025 Be Happy Basketball Tournament, defeating Adamawa Stars 78-49 in an impressive final.
Rayyan Salis was named MVP and highest scorer of the tournament, while Modupe Lawrence of Mak-Town Flyers earned the Most Improved Player award.
Thomas Agoh, also of Mak-Town Flyers, was honored as the Best Defensive Player, and Solomon Illiya of Be Happy Stars secured the Best 3-Point Shooter accolade.
Alhaji Danjuma Suleman Wunti, the tournament’s main sponsor, emphasized the event’s focus on developing grassroots basketball, while co-sponsor Bashir Isa of Six Towers Construction expressed his commitment to supporting the competition as a means of giving back to society and providing a platform for future talent.
