Watford of England striker, Isaac Success is still basking in the euphoria of his first goal of the English Premier League season last weekend, and believes he is now a better professional footballer.
After overcome a chain of injuries and surgery at the start of his career with The Hornets, Success has finally hit top form with the club, such that he feels on top of the world once again.
Sports247.ng can report that the former Granada of Spain striker has already been granted another invitation to the Super Eagles, ahead of next month’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against South Africa, and Success says he has more to offer club and country.
Success acknowledged that he was a bit off the cuff with his career, but he is now ready to be a true professional and keep scoring for the club.
He admitted: “It took a lot of time to adapt to English Premier League system, the lifestyle and the professionalism
“I had a different mentality then than now. Then I thought talent can do it all because to me I know the talent is there.
“I realised just before the start of this season that talent was not enough, and hard work will always beat talent.
“So I am more of a professional now. I am a much better player now, much better professional.
“I know my ability, I know my quality. I just want to keep on working hard and giving what I can give to both my country and the club side.”
