After almost a week of football fiesta from some young talented footballers across the country, football fans in and around Delta State that will throng the Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba today will be treated to the best of soccer extravaganza as the finals of both the Under-17 and the Under-21 finals of Stephen Keshi National Football Tournament will be played.
By 2pm, Jazzy Stars Football Academy, Jos, Plateau State will battle it out with Shooting Arrows Football Academy of Edo State in the final of the Under-17 category for the giant gold plated trophy, while by 4pm, SKE fc, PortHarcourt, Rivers State, will slug it out with Colithen fc of Edo State in the Under-21 category for the trophy.
Dignitaries expected to grace the finals today are the Governor of Delta State, Delta State Sports Commission Chairman, Tonobok Kokowa and late Stephen Keshi’s friends and Super Eagles colleagues, Clement Temile,Austin Popo, Tajudeen Disu, Ex-Super Eagles and EPL star, Sam Sodje, Tarila Okorowanta,David Aigbogun,among others too numerous to mention.
