Former CHAN Eagles star defender Stephen Eze was on target for Bulgarian side Lokomotiv Plovdiv as they edged closer to the final of the Cup competition after a 4-0 semifinal first leg thumping of Septemvri Sofia.
The former Kano Pillars defender started the encounter as Dimitar Iliev fourteenth minute penalty gave his side an early 1-0 lead.
Eze then made it 2-0 five minutes later when he was fed by Edin Bahtic before Momchil Tsvetanov made it 3-0 just before the half-hour mark.
Igor Banovic then completed the rout three minutes from time as the hosts took a comfortable 4-0 lead going into next Tuesday’s return leg in Bistritsa.
