Starbase FC Ogudu has appointed Coach Olu Akinfolarin as the new head coach on a two years contract.
The club finished second in group B of the Surulere Regional League and are looking forward to better that position by winning the title this time, hence the appointment of Olu as the new man to thinker the team.
The club under Olu in 2017/18 season recorded these feats, Round 32 of the Lagos FA cup 2018, Kosofe league winner 2018, and third runner up in Hon Ark competition in Ojodu Berger in 2018.
In a chat with the newsmen coach, Ola said “I look back with pride on what we achieved together in 2017/2018 season and I believe the club has a bright future”.
“I feel delighted to be back again after just a few seasons away from the club, I left the club to further my knowledge of the game at Nigeria Institute of Sports and I believe with the knowledge acquired, the team will gain more from me this time around”
Starbase FC Ogudu will be competing in the Surulere Regional League as well as the Lagos FA Cup and other Grassroot tournaments.
Coach Olu is to be assisted by Coach Saheed Sonuyi, who has been with the club since the 2018 season.
