Nigerian sprint sensation, Precious Nzeakor, delivered a dazzling performance at the Crimson Tide Invitational in Alabama, completing a dominant 100m/200m double to underline her rising status on the track.
Nzeakor stormed to victory in the women’s 100m with a time of 11.49 seconds (+0.6), narrowly missing her personal best by just two-hundredths of a second. Her blistering start and strong finish saw her fend off stiff competition to claim the top spot.
She returned to the track later in the day to take on the 200m, where she once again proved untouchable, clocking 23.32 seconds (-0.3) to secure her second gold of the meet.
The impressive double win not only highlights her consistency and explosive speed but also sets the tone for what promises to be a breakthrough season for the young athlete.
