Director of Springsoca United Football Club, Oladapo Emmanuel has described the just concluded open trials held yesterday as a huge success.
The one-day open trials which was held at Bridge Institute playground, CAPPA, Oshodi, Lagos witnessed more than fifty players across age brackets and their performances were quite satisfactory.
Emmanuel who spoke to Journalists said the trials was a huge success as some trialists were selected to join the team in the few days to come.
He said those who were not selected would also give a chance as long they would fulfill the requirements of the club.
“Our trials was a huge success because the coaching crew was able to drill the players and brought the best out of them. Let me confess that we have selected some exceptional players that would join the club very soon while those who could not make it would be given another chance but they must fulfill club requirements before registering into the club,” he said.
Chief Coach of Springsoca United, Emmanuel Ayeni said all the players played well but noted that only a few players did not live up to expectations.
One of the trialists, Okpara Chigozie Daniel said he was impressed with the standard and organization of trials saying that he had learned many things during the exercise of the trial.
The former 36 Lion FC Ebiede FC commended the organizers for the initiative saying that such trials of this magnitude would always bring the best out of players who are hungry for success.
