The minister for youth and sports development duely represented by Femi Ajao firstly apologied for the unavoidable present of the honourable minister, and thank Nilayo sports management for the wonderful job the management have being doing in promoting marathon race in Nigeria.
Mr Femi retirated the honourable minister stand, on his ministry not only a football ministry but for all sports .
He further stated that sports is a unifying tool in Nigeria where tribalism, ethnicity and religious sentiments are shoved aside anytime a sporting event is been held .
While stating further that the minister of youth and sports development objective of curbing youth restlessness, and closing up the gap of youth unemployment can be achieved through sports.
He thank Bukola Olopade for the great strides he has achieved most especially in bring JAC MOTORS ABEOKUTA 10KM race to the people of Egbaland .
