The minister for youths and sports, Sunday Dare on Saturday congratulated Aqudri Aruna and Olajide Omotayo who is now ranked as the third best man in table tennis on the Africa continent .
With their present ranking , the minister made it clear that support will be giving to all sporting federation and not just one federation .
The minister’s tweet as monitored from his handle ;
“Table Tennis- Thumbs up for Oyo State and Nigeria as Table Tennis sensation, Quadri Aruna holds firm his ranking as 19th by ITTF and Olajide Omotayo is now 3rd best in Africa. This developments further validates our position that we must focus on other sports Not focus on one”
