The sports minister congratulates the victorious U23 team over their five nil bashing of their opponent from Sudan.
The minister tweeted this message immediately after the game in Asaba , Delta state
“This evening in Asaba, Delta State, the Nigeria U23 national team beat their Sudanese counterparts 5-0 in the second leg of the third round of the 2020 Olympics qualifiers. Our boys are now closer to grabbing a ticket to Tokyo 2020.
He further argue the team success as they made it to the main event in Egypt, where the real battle is for the two tickets to Tokyo 2020.
