Top sports enthusiasts Tosin Adeniji popularly referred to as Oba Adeniji in the sporting circle has been elected chairman of the1994 Alumni set of St Finbarr’s college Lagos beating his opponents to win 20 out of a total of 24 votes.
The former high ranking Nigerian Naval officer beat Kunle Oduneye and Okusesan to the chairmanship position. Oba Adeniji after the election has promised to take the alumni association to the next level and will operate an all inclusive executive board.
Oba Adeniji’s love for sports especially football started at a very tender age where he had high hopes of becoming a goalkeeper and was a decent one while his short career with the round leather game lasted.
Newly elected members of the executive board of the St Finbarr’s college Alumni set of ’94 are:
Vice Chairman Okesesan received 15 votes on total to defeat Kunle Oduneye (8) and Kingsley Nwaomu (1)
Others include: Financial secretary, Simon Ajayi, Treasurer
