Normalcy returned to the Ondo State Football Association as stakeholders settled their differences during the Annual General Assembly held in Akure on Saturday.
Ondo State Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development Saka Yusuf appealed to the board members to embrace peace for the sake of football to move forward in the State.
Speaking at the Annual General Assembly of the State Football Association, the commissioner urged the Congress to follow the resolutions of the NFF organized football stakeholders meeting which took place in the state a few weeks back saying the various issues on ground have been previously addressed by the football hierarchy from Abuja.
The commissioner went further to tell the football Assembly to follow strictly their statues both at the State and the National levels insisting that they should make amendments wherever necessary so as to allow room for football development at the highest peak.
While responding on behalf of the FA the Chairman Otunba Dele Ajayi thanked the Commissioner for his concerns while assuring a one football family in the State henceforth saying all is now set for a fresh elections into the board.
The Congress agreed that the Local Government elections should kick start the process on or before 28th, January, 2019 while the electoral committee that was officially sworn in at the Congress would determine the Elections into the board at the State level.
