The arrival of Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL) veteran tactician, Coach Abdullahi Biffo at Sporting Lagos FC has set the team’s players thinking of finishing among the division’s top-ten clubs this season.
Although they lost 2-0 away to Katsina United during his first match in charge last weekend, the club’s agile goalkeeper, Christian Nwoke believes Biffo can turn their fortunes around for the better.

Speaking ahead of their clash with 11th-placed Abia Warriors of Umuahia this Sunday in Lagos, Nwoke declared that his side will get maximum points from the game and move up the table.
Although Sporting Lagos is currently 13th on the NPFL log, Nwoke is of the view that Biffo has what it takes to take them higher and excite their fans.
The shot-stopper reckoned about Biffo, “He is a very good coach, and our fans should expect more better performances from us.
“They should expect better results from our team and for us to maintain at least a top-10 position at the end of the season.
“I’m sure we will get into the top 10 of the league.”
