Spanish outfit, CD Leganes is keen on completing the signing of three Nigerian players from the club Buruj FC after a successful trial.
The trio of Ayangan Clifford, Sunday Chinonso and Inyang Edet are set to leave the country for Spain to sign the official club papers that will see them begin their professional European careers with the club in January.
CEO of Buruj FC, Dr. Salaudeen Waheed Buruj expressed his delight at the potential of having three players move to Spain to further their careers through his club.
“I’m very much delighted to see these players leveling up their career internationally which has been the light up of our renowned football outfit. This landmark of achievement is what we are proud of as our commitment to our resourceful players are beginning to materialize,” Dr. Salaudeen said.
“We won’t stop taking the finest potentials off the street, not just engaging them in anything but what they truly desire and carefully threading them to their pathway of global rejuvenation,” he added.
Edet the first choice goalkeeper, defender Chinonso, and forward Clifford all showed their appreciation to family, friends, teammates and the club management for the opportunity to become one of the bests.
