Nigeria International Omatsone Aluko scored his first goal of the season for Beijing Renhe in their 2-2 draw at home to visiting Shenzhen Kaisa on matchday six of the Chinese Super League.
Bringing an end to his five matches goal drought, the 30-year-old produced a man of the match display to help his side remain unbeaten for the second straight week.
Ole Selnæs put the visitors ahead after 38 minutes before Aluko equalised five minutes after the restart.
Makhete Diop then put the hosts in front for the first time on the 77th minute before Qiang Jin equalised two minutes from time after firing home a rebound following Harold Preciado initial penalty miss.
Aluko was named the man of the match with a game rating of 8.6, completing 100% of his dribbles, winning a game-high 11 duels and also completing 85% of his passes.
Sone is a son of a former Nigerian Senator, Gbenga Aluko, who represented Ekiti South Senatorial district from 1999 – 2003 at the Red Chambers.
