Home team, Sokoto lit up the National Under 12/15 Handball Championship with a emphatic win over Imo
In a match played at the Gingiya Memorial Stadium in Sokoto, the under 15 Caliphate boys put Imo to sword with a 32-12 win to the delight of their fans.
Other under 15 boys category matches saw Niger defeating Kebbi 16-12 while Tojemarine won their match 19-16.
In the under 15 girls category, Nisha got a dose of handball lessons as they were ruthlessly beaten by Abia 22-6.
The Nisha went on to lose again to home girls of Sokoto by 19-4.
Sokoto went on to win Kebbi 18-4 while Tojemarine defeated Mind Scope 14-6.
Mind Scope went on to lose to Suleja Shooters 8-2.
In the under 12 boys category Tojemarine defeated Najet 19-11 while Sokoto defeated Kebbi 18-12.
The under 12 girls saw Sokoto defeat Nisha 19-4
