Anambra State Football Association will be collaborating with renowned international institution Smart Sparrowz Youth Foundation International to bring a goalkeeper training course to the state.
Making the announcements, the CEO of the the institution Clement Onejeme emphasized why they will be focusing on goalkeepers and the need for young goal minders to participate in this one day event.
I want to first of all appreciate the Chairman of Anambra State Football Association Gen. Chikelue Iloenyosi for giving us this opportunity to make meaningful impact in the future generations. At Smart Sparrowz Youth Foundation International, we focus on excellence and capacity and this training will the participants in more ways than one. We will be teaching them the latest training modules for goalkeepers. We have goalkeeping experts that will be helping us with the programs. This is why any young goalkeeper won’t remain the same in ability, thinking and capability. See you all on Saturday morning.
The acting secretary of the Anambra FA, Mr Raph Nweke thanked the brains behind the program and disclosed the FA’s willingness to partner trustworthy organizations to improve the football development in the state.
On behalf of the Chairman, Gen. Chikelue Iloenyosi, I appreciate the gesture of Smart Sparrowz Youth Foundation International and is optimistic the positive impact this program will have on young players especially goalkeepers going forward. Here at Anambra State Football Association, we are open to partner with organizations that are willing to have a proper football program that will be under our supervision. That’s while we appreciate the CEO of Smart Sparrowz Youth Foundation International Mr Clement Onejeme for bringing this thoughtful program to our state. We will make sure that we provide the enabling environment to make this program a success.
The program will happen at the Awka City stadium by 8am on Saturday February 4th 2023. All young goalkeepers in the state are cordially invited as the program is free to them all.
