Smart city football club of Lagos, has appointed heavenly gifted Poland-based ex-player, Sunday Ibrahim (aka Allan ball) as the new vice-chairman of the noble club.
The brief colourful unveiling ceremony which took place recently in Lagos, was a very good step taken by smart city.
Sunday Ibrahim who is the president and founder of WONDERBOYZ NIGERIA LTD, a life coach, motivational speaker, who is very Committed to youths development all over Africa, through sports, education and vocational training has promised to give best in his new role at smart city.
Speaking to newsmen after the unveiling, Ibrahim said, he is very elated to work with City, saying it’s a job he could not reject, due to his relationship with the chairman of the club, Adeboye Anthony Adeyinka, who is the senior special adviser to the present Lagos state governor.
“Smart city is a club that I was aware of before it was formed some years ago and now that I have the opportunity to input my wealth of experience to take the club to the next level, I can’t turn my back on them and am here to put in my best to take this beautiful club to the highest levels,” he said.
“The chairman is doing a very good job, I have known him for over 30 years now, and coming to work with him, will definitely make these players achieve their full potentials” he added.
Ibrahim who played the round leather game to enviable heights, further said that, he sees the opportunity to work with city as a big privilege.
“Its a very big privilege to work with smart city, because, I see every opportunity to serve as a privilege from God. I will imbibe the spirit of discipline and hard work in these players, and we all know grace goes with hard work too, so I encourage these boys to work very hard because when they get to Europe, they must work extra hard and be disciplined to achieve success” he concluded.
Ibrahim, played in the Nigerian league, with Niger Dock FC, VIP football club, he also played in Poland, Norway, China etc, in his very glorious football career.
