Smart City coach Tela Tom-Dollar is appreciative to have participated in the Ranking 45 Super 4 Tournament.
The mini-competition was initiated for the celebration of G12 Football Club president Hakeem Mustapha Olatunji as he clocks 45 years of age.
Smart City finished as runners-up in the one-day competition after going down 3-1 to Box2Box FC in the decisive match, taking home N150,000.
Speaking after the match, Smart City’s coach Tela Tom-Dollar told Sports247:
“It’s a very good tournament because everyone showcased himself. The talented teams tried to prove themselves and we got to see how the game goes. It’s a very good tournament.
“We are grateful and at least we came second out of it. We just have to thank the organizer for making this happen,” he said.
